Maths Trail

Junior Infants went on a shape hunt last week! They discovered lots of shapes and colours hidden all over our school!

More Polydron Fun!

Hard at Work!

We can tell the story of 5!

Trip to Riverstown House

April is Local History Month in Scoil Chill Ruadhain! Yesterday, Senior Infants went to visit Riverstown House. We learned all about the house and gardens and spoke to the people who live there now. They showed us the greenhouse, the orchard and the ice-house. They told us the stories of the secret tunnel and the three-eyed bridge and explained that the bell on top of the house was used to call workers from the fields!

Making Shapes with Polydrons!

Look at the wonderful things we can make!

Senior Infants have been learning about capacity during maths class. We examined different containers and discussed which would hold more or less liquid. Then we estimated the capacity before measuring it and checking our answers!

Tennis Time!

Junior Infants had great fun at their first tennis lesson today.
